If you enjoy softball and want to play on the church team, we are seeking men and woman to form a WaterStone Softball team. Players must be 18 years of age or older. If you are 17, the city will allow underaged players if a special form is filed.
Registration is open and we must have a minimum of 12 people registered to create a team. Registration fee is $46 and new players will need to order a WaterStone team tee shirt for an additional $10. We will form as many teams as possible based on the number of people that have signed up. If we do not get enough to play, your fee will be refunded.
Our registration closes on 12/15.
This is a commitment to play 10 games on Friday evenings from January 12th thru March 16th.
Our first team meeting/practice will be on 12/29 at 6:30 p.m. at the Longwood Campus (900 North Street in Longwood), with 10 games being scheduled, and 6 practices to be scheduled on a field, dates and times to be determined by the team captain. Additional practices can be determined by the team captain at our Longwood campus. Captain and practice dates and times will be determined at the first team meeting. All games are played at Merrill Park, in Altamonte Springs.
*NEW – effective January 2018, all Merrill Park adult softball leagues will be sanctioned by USA Softball of Florida (formerly known as ASA Softball).
As a part of registration, there will be an agreement for good sportsmanship, Christian behavior, and clean language at all times. Please see the WaterStone Softball Team Expectations that are included in this registration.
The WaterStone Softball Mission: To create a fun outreach, designed to invite friends to play so they can meet other Christians and be invited to WaterStone Church. We are to be a light amongst the many teams we compete against in the secular ballfield environment.
Longwood Campus Stepping Stones
December 17th, 2017
Are you curious about the vision of WaterStone Church, what we stand for, and where we are going? We have a wonderful time of discovery planned for you! This class will help guide you through the essential steps that every believer needs to take to become a fully-devoted follower of Christ, including the opportunity to be water baptized.
Your journey begins with Step One, Finding Success in Your Walk With Christ.
Step One is followed by Step Two, Understanding Church. This step takes you on an awesome biblical journey of discovering the need for the church and your part in this great movement. We wrap up the Stepping Stones journey with Step Three, Discovering Ministry. This step will help you discover how God uniquely created you. Through understanding your personality and spiritual gifts, you will be prepared to serve others in the way God designed.
Enjoy refreshments as you discover the next steps at WaterStone Church, while your young children enjoy supervised playtime. Steppings Stones Step One is offered the first Sunday of each month.
The Longwood Stepping Stones Class will be held at 9:30am, at the Longwood Campus in The Connection Room (107). Please register each person attending, including children, so we can be prepared for your family.
